ABSTRACT
Este artigo discute, na perspectiva dos Direitos Humanos, como os profissionais dos CAPS AD II do Distrito Federal compreendem a Redução de Danos e como essa prática se efetiva. A fundamentação teórica se baseou na Reforma Psiquiátrica e nas políticas públicas sobre o tratamento a usuários de drogas. Para isso, realizou-se uma pesquisa qualitativa, utilizando entrevistas semiestruturadas com 19 profissionais. As informações foram tratadas por meio do software IRaMuTeQ® e examinadas segundo a análise de conteúdo de Bardin (2011). Os resultados apontaram que, apesar de os profissionais conhecerem estratégias relacionadas à Redução de Danos, suas práticas não respeitam as escolhas do sujeito, violando os princípios da liberdade individual e dos Direitos Humanos.
This paper discusses, from the perspective of human rights, how professionals of CAPS AD II from the Federal District understand the harm reduction and how that practice is conducted. The theoretical framework was based on the Psychiatric Reform and on the public policy concerning the treatment of drug users. In order to do this, a qualitative research was carried out using semi-structured interviews with 19 professionals. The information was processed through IRaMuTeQ® software and analyzed after the Bardin (2011) content analysis. Theresults showed that, although the professionals are familiarized with strategies related to harm reduction, their practices does not respect the choices of the subject, violating the principles of individual freedom and human rights.
